Mahabharat - A different point of view - Conclusion

Mahabharat the war was inevitable. It was destined. Though it was a destruction, it lead to new generation, new ethics. Old ethics and beliefs were cleared off and new ethics were established. Lord Krishna Himself did this. We have noticed different culture, behaviour and beliefs in different eras. Tretayuga, When Ram was born, people's belief, dedication towards lord, ethics, behaviour, everything was different. Then came Dwaparyug, where politics, cruelness (at small scale level) was installed. Krishna destroyed them with its tactics and power.

And now here we are in Kaliyug. The worst era of all. Today we here many types of crimes. People are crossing limit of cruelness. Rapes, Murders, torture and what not. But yes their is still hope. People still fear god, the almighty. Earth surviving just because their many innocent people staying on this planet, who still follow the rules of nature and almighty.

Mahabharat was a teaching, a lesson to a common man of Today. Krishna's vision was way beyond the timing. If we read Gita, yes it is really still helpful in this era too. One have to fight against all odds himself. He cant expect, Ram, Krishna or Shiva to come to his rescue. Yes they will surely come to help him, only when he himself will fight for it. Krishna says, such a religion, ethics and practices are useless if they become the base of injustice. To survive, you will have to play politics, be selfish sometimes (not always). Their is a famous saying, A person should not be too honest. Straight trees are cut first and honest people are screwed first.

We call Krishna as PuranPurush. He was perfect, He was intelligent, cunning for his enemy and lovable for his loved ones. We can learn many things from him, though we cant follow each and every thing he did. He was a super human. People still love him, worship him. Ram is always God for most of people, but Krishna is more dear to his each and every devotee. He is always their friend, inspiration and love. Before ending my view, I will never forget to say, all this three post are dedicated to Him.

Mahabharat - A different point of view - Part 2

Ok continuing from previous post.

गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णुर्गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः ।
गुरुरेव परं ब्रह्म तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः

We believe Guru is parallel to god. We do respect our teachers. But as per me, Dronacharya is the most partial Guru or teacher I have ever seen. He always gave preference to Arjuna rather than his own son Ashwatthama. Ashwatthama was a blessed child. Almost immortal. He had a diamond on his forehead. This diamond was destroyed by Krishna and cursed him to be immortal till the end of the world with lot of sufferings. (Will talk about this too in next post ;-) )

Dronacharya even refused Eklavya to teach archery. But Eklavya was very dedicated. He created statue of Dronacharya and started learning himself thinking his guru is with him. Due to his dedication, Lord shiva got impressed. He taught eklavya from the statue of Dronacharya.

But again, I hate this person. Eklavya after completing his studies, went to Dronacharya, to give him GuruDakshina. Dronacharya asked him to show his talent. He became afraid after watching his mastery in Archery. So he asked for his thumb of right hand. Eklavya without thinking anything, gave it to his Guru. Dronacharya thought he will not be able to do archery. But eklavya learnt to use his other two fingers while aiming the bow.

Now coming to Pandavas. Were pandavas so good to be always favoured. Even they had flaws in them. After Arjun winning the competition and getting married to Draupadi, All pandavas came home. Kunti was meditating at that moment. Yudhishtir says, Mom, see we have brought something. Kunti had a habit. Whenever Pandavas used to bring something, she use to say, distribute among all of you. This time her eyes were closed. As per her habit she said the same thing. First of all, it was yudhishtirs fault. Why did he used the word "something". why didn,t he say, Arjun has won competition and married to Draupadi. Please look at your daughter-in-law.

Again. Even in that era, it was against the religion for a lady to marry more than one Man. Why didn't they opposed this fact. They always used to follow mothers word. But that doesn't mean you will literally follow the wrong words or mistakes. Yes She mistakenly said those word. Their was no need to follow it. First Mistake by Yudhishthir and his brothers.

Duryodhan and shakuni invited to play Ludo. First mistake Pandavas did was to accept the invitation. Second, it was against the ethics of religion to play Ludo. Third, they didn't ask Krishna before going there. If Krishna would have played dice, History would be something different. Why blame Duryodhan and Dusshasana for the abuse. The main game planner was Shakuni. Very few people knew about Vikarna, who was one of the Kaurav brothers. He protested against the molestation of Draupadi.

Mahabharat - A different point of view - Part 1

From my childhood, I have been reading as well as listening stories from my parents about Mahabharat. Recently I have got a best friend who is also my colleague. We often talk about Ramayan, Mahabharat and our favourite topic is Krishna of course. As I said in my previous post, Without Him it was impossible for Pandavas to win Mahabharat. My friend says, Bhishma Alone would have finished the game till lunch time on the first day itself. But it was Krishna, and his strategies which led to victory of Pandavas.

But in this article I am not going to talk about the goodness of pandavas, or Krishna or his powers. Lets think Mahabharat in a different angle. If Bhishma would have come to throne rather than Dhritarashtra, Mahabharat would'nt have happened. Ok Leave it. Shakuni, King of Gandhar, was defeated by Bhishma and Pandu. Following is the story as per Wikipedia:

It is said that in some military campaign of either Bheeshma, Pandu, or Shantanu, Gandhara came under attack from Hastinapur. Hastinapur conquered Gandhar, killed the king Achala Suvala, and imprisoned all the male members of his line, saying that line was full of adharma. This included Shakuni and his 100 brothers (in some accounts, "brothers" is literal, in others it is used to represent other family members in what was common usage at the time). Since all of them were sparsely fed (with one grain of rice each per day) in the prison, the family decided that at least one of them could survive and gave all the rice to Shakuni, the most cunning of them all, so that he could live on to take revenge. Eventually, King Subala, Shakuni's father, bends the knee to make a permanent mark of the injustice. Considered a man of dharma, his family is allowed to live. In some stories, Shakuni carves from the bones of his dead parents dice that will never lose him a game. Shakuni's father's soul is said to have entered the dice and it would roll to whatever number Shakuni wanted. Shakuni was unhappy with his sister Gandhari's marriage to Kaurava prince Dhritarashtra. He was more so ever angry with Bhishma for bringing this proposal as he found it insulting and demeaning, not only because Dhritarashtra was blind, but because of the way the Kurus had destroyed his line years before. He swore to avenge this insult by slowly destroying Bhishma's clan. He achieved this by poisoning the mind of his volatile nephew, and influenced Duryodhana into instigating the war with the Pandavas, which resulted in the destruction of the Kuru line.

This made Shakuni to take revenge, and the he used Duryodhan as his weapon to destroy the entire kuru dynasty. Lets think from Duryodhan's perspective, why would he keep rivalry with Pandavas since childhood. Pandu was already dead, Dhritarashtra became king. Their wasn't any reason for rivalry or jealousy. But the poison was filled by Shakuni in his mind which led Duryodhan to do atrocities on Pandavas.

Next is Karna, Why he went to Duryodhans side. Just because when others boycott him just because of his caste, duryodhan helped him. As he was the only one who saw potentials and talent in Karna. Going back to Karna's history, Just because of Kunti's mistake, Karna has to suffer for his whole life. (Will speak about this mistake later!! stay tuned)

All 99 brothers of Duryodhan, followed his orders, was that their mistake?? They were obeying orders of their elder brother including dusshasana, who blindly followed his orders to molest draupadi infront of everyone. I dont support the act by any manner.

What about Ashwatthama. He would have never came into picture. But Dronacharya did partiality with his son and Arjuna. He always favoured Arjuna, which led to rivalry and jealousy.

Krishna - The greatest mystery ever

Their are too many unsolved mysteries in this world about which we keep on talking. Bermuda Triangle, Area 51, UFO etc. But Our Indian Mythology has a biggest mystery hidden which is next to impossible to be solved. He is Lord Krishna. So who was he? As we all know him as a god, Incarnation of Lord Vishna etc. He was a thief, politician, lover boy, mumma's boy, fantastic brother, great leader, philosopher, killer (Yes, he killed his own uncle. Of course for right cause), and what not. The list is unending.

Whenever we read his story, we get something new about him, yet we dont know him completely. Their is one dialogue, when Krishna comes to abduct Rukmini, Arjun asks him, if her brother will identify him, as he comes in a disguise of a milkman. He says, no one yet, not even you have identified me, then how he will identify me. Thats his mystery. I have read about all other incarnation of Lord Vishnu. But Krishna is truly his complete form.

His intelligence is unparalleled. His love is unmatched yet.For Pandavas it would have been impossible to win the War of Mahabharat without Him. I have alot to say about him, but my words are falling short to explain him. He is unexplained and he will remain a mystery for the entire world till its end.

Our Ancestors were apes ... Is it so???

Yes, Today I am going to touch a really controversial topic which I am listening as well as thinking about. We have been taught from school days, that Our ancestors were apes. Due to evolution in homo sapiens, the structure of apes slowly got converted to what we are today. Standing erect, no tail, no hair on body (their are still some hairy people among us ;-) ) etc. But is it so.

My brain is still not ready to accept this theory. The basic question behind this is their still many apes present in this world, why didn't they got converted to humans. We can see monkeys in circus, that means they live with humans, eat with them. Why do they didnt got converted yet. I am not a scientist to make any such statement or present any theory regarding this. But as a common man, I think we are completely a different species or race altogether. Though we have resemblance with apes, they cannot be our ancestors. Secondly, the bullshit told to us regarding amoeba, from which all the species are derived.

Their is one possibility. This may sound sci-fi but yeah I think we are not from this planet(!). We do not belong to earth. We have placed here from some other planet. Further we have adapted this environment. And thats today we are living. And looking at the climatic conditions and thanks to our so called intelligence, we are now destroying this planet. Very soon, their will be a time when we will have to search for some other planet to stay. Scientists are working hard to find such place where we can establish our civilization if such apocalyptic situation occurs in our distant future.

We cannot predict what will happen tomorrow, but still we have control on our today and we need to utilize this time to save our species and the planet.

Is Really Everything in our hand???

We always say that we can do anything, everything is in our hand. But is it really true. When someone fails to do something, others keep on taunting him, you could have done this, but you didnt tried. But is it really so?? Many a times we work 100%, still we fail why?? As per my view, nothing is in our hand.

Yah that doesn’t mean we should not do the actions or the work given to us. God says, keep on doing work assigned to you, dont wait for results. Leave it on me.
If everything is in our hand, are we pushing the earth to rotate?? Are we giving her direction to move around sun?? Do we produce rains, snowfall, tides etc..
Then we say that this is been done by nature. Then who is this nature?? Whenever we sleep, our brain sleep, but many of our internal organs still keep on working. And if they don’t, we will die. Do we manually give Direction to them?? Mr heart, Keep on pumping, Mr blood, Keep on flowing, Do we do this??

We say nothing is impossible, have we yet conquered death?? Do we humans have complete knowledge about dreams. Many scientists have theoretical explanations to all this, but are they sure that they have completely understood all this phenomena?? Answer is No. We still dont know how mind creates dream and projects in front of us. We still dont know how some disease cause someone to die, when others get cure.

Whenever someone fails to explain some phenomena, we call it as accident. When someone fails to explain reasons behind the fact, we call it as excuses. But they happen. It happens with someone now, will happen with other after some time. Everybody goes through each and every mode of life. And till we don’t experience it, we don’t understand the joy or sorrow behind particular situation.

The conclusion is, nothing is in our hand. We can just do our work, perform actions, rest all leave it on almighty...

Sixth Sense

After a long interval, I am back with new idea. We have heard much about sixth sense. Some people get knowledge of many things automatically. They can sense any danger coming towards them or their loved ones. Just like our favourite cartoon character Spiderman.

But What I think is each and every human has got that sense. The only thing is they are unaware of it, or the power is in sleep mode. Now I am not any baba or something like that who can  enlighten the power. But I myself have realized many things. For example, sometimes I feel like something which I am going to do, should not be done. And If I do it, I either fail or get in some problem. Sometimes students feel like , they will be getting specific questions in their question paper, and they actually come across those questions.

While watching cricket, sometimes we feel our favourite player is going to hit six, or he is going to get bowled and it happens. On Discovery channel, I saw a story of some lady. She used to sense, earthquakes, Floods, volcano eruptions etc. Whenever it used to happen, she used to get sick. Not only humans, animals have strong sixth sense power. Before big natural calamities, animals are seen behaving unusal. Like dogs barking continuously, whole lot of birds migrating from one place to another etc. If it is earthquake, people have noticed, group of mouse coming out of holes. They sense the disturbances in the earth's crust.

I have read somewhere that if god takes out any of 5 senses, it gives extra sense to human. For example, blind people can sense any person coming near to him/her. They can identify who is stranger and who is not. Even in darkness we can walk in our room, not just because we got the judgement, but even sometimes our sixth sense help us to avoid obstacles in our way.

Finally, Just I want to say is, we all have that extra sense, which is always their to help us. Some have it as a god gift, some people didn’t realize it, and some people come across this power accidentally. Have you came across this power in you???
